Our kits come fully built and designed around drop-in installation. Kits come with full step-by-step install instructions.The Tacoma SxS kit does require extending the factory chassis ground cable. Kit includes 6ga extension wire, butt connectors, and heat shrink. We use Red-Arc DC to DC charging to charge your auxiliary battery while driving. All cables come pre-wired and labeled for easy installation. Tray Mount requires no drilling into sheet metal.
Kit Includes the following:

• Aluminum Battery tray with Red-Arc Mount
  Our Side-by-side tray houses two group 25/35 batteries. (We recommend AGM batteries)
  Designed for easy mounting of the Red-Arc 1225D unit. This tray replaces the plastic tray under the stock battery location.
• Aluminum Battery Tie Down
  Our machined battery tie down is built with more strength than every needed in mind. It is tapped with 6mm holes to house two busman 40amp fuses. The fuses are re-settable for in field testing.
• Red-Arc 1225D Battery Charger
  The REDARC BCDC1225D In-vehicle Dual Battery Charger is a 12 volt, 25A in-vehicle DC-DC battery charger designed to charge your secondary battery banks to 100% state of charge while on the move. The unit also has a built-in MPPT solar controller for charging while stationary. The Red-Arc is perfect for charging AGM, Gel, Standard Lead Acid, Calcium, and LiFePO4 batteries. (For under hood applications we recommend AGM batteries).
